Palworld is not just a monster-catching game — it is a full base-building, automation and breeding simulator. The core gameplay loop is simple: build a base and automate it, catch Pals to work and fight, breed four-gold-trait monsters, then push through the boss towers to the endgame.
Core loop: Build base & automate → Catch Pals to work/fight → Breed four-gold traits → Clear boss towers to endgame.
1. Base Location & Building Order
Main Base (permanent, Level 0-20)
- Flat, large plain — avoid valleys, steep slopes and bumpy terrain
- Wood, stone and iron all nearby in one area
- Low-level monster zone so your Pals don't get wiped
Building Order (fixed formula)
- Pal Terminal
- Beds
- Feed Box
- Storage Box
- Campfire
- Logging Site
- Stone Pit
- Furnace
- Plantation
Iron Sub-base (Level 24)
Location: the mining area behind the Ruined Church. It is dense with iron, letting you farm unlimited iron on full auto.
The Iron Rules of a Peaceful Base
- Every Pal has a bed, food and rest
- Don't pack the base full — crowding drains SAN and drives Pals insane
- Regularly clear invasions, keep open slots, build hot springs to restore mood
2. Attribute Point Build (the only correct way)
Early Game (Level 1-30)
- Priority: Weight > Stamina > HP
- Push Weight to 700-800
- Do not put points into Attack or Defense early — your Pals do the damage
Late Game (Level 30-50)
- Top up HP and Stamina
- Spend remaining points on Attack
3. Catching Pals — the Golden Trick
Low HP + hit from behind + status control = guaranteed catch
- Low HP gives the highest catch rate
- Throwing from behind gives the biggest bonus
- A Pal higher level than you massively lowers the odds
- Sleep / Frozen status doubles the catch chance
4. Pal Tier List (by stage)
Early-Game Worker Pals (T0)
Mid-Game Auto Workers (T0)
Endgame Worker Kings (T0)
Early Combat Pals
Mid-Game Combat Pals
Version-Endgame Combat Pals (T0)

1.0 Endgame — World Tree Line
- Prerequisite: clear all 6 towers → unlock Tianyang Village
- Pre-bosses: Duskveil Lv78, Oatgrave Lv79, corrupted tower gauntlet
- Final boss: Zenara & Withering Dragon Lv80
- Recommended: level 70+ with four-trait dragon / electric team
6. Four-Gold-Trait Breeding
The Four God Traits
- Legend — Attack & Defense +30%
- Swift — Movement speed +30%
- Brave — Attack +20%
- Serious — stable damage boost
Breeding Core Rules
- Traits randomly inherit from parent pool; fewer junk traits = easier four-gold
- Wild Pals almost never have four traits — you must purify over generations
- Each breeding costs a Cake (flour + egg + milk + honey)
Three-Step Purification
- Purify four single-gold parents — one each for Legend / Swift / Brave / Serious (breed repeatedly to strip all junk traits)
- Combine into two double-gold individuals — Legend+Swift and Brave+Serious
- Final merge — double-gold × double-gold, mass-hatch eggs to roll the full four-gold
Breeding Speed-Up Tips
- Nocturnal Beegarde on field: hatch speed +20%
- Matching temperature speeds up incubation
- Lianli Dragon on field: chance to hatch Alpha eggs
- Ability Glasses to screen high-IV breeders
Worker Endgame Traits
For pure production Pals: Artisan + Serious + Work Slave + Lucky (no attack traits).
7. Ten Biggest Mistakes to Avoid
- Random base building = full teardown late game
- Pals without bed/food = constant destruction & strikes
- Early attack points = weight capacity collapse
- Only catching wild Pals, no breeding = stuck low-tier forever
- Messy job assignment = base paralysis & inefficiency
- Stingy with high-tier spheres = every boss catch fails
- No defenses = invasions tear up your production line
- Rushing World Tree under-leveled = instant wipe
- Packing the base full of Pals = mass insanity
- No automation, all manual = progress grind burns you out
Ultimate mantra: Max weight first, never skip beds and food. Catch from behind at low HP, breed your way to greatness. Build flat, automate, and farm full riches on idle.
